The Puglia, the trulli of Alberobello

Speaking of Puglia it is often natural to think of the characteristic Trulli that are its typical buildings scattered throughout the region. They are made of dry stone and most of them date back to the sixteenth century. We can find the oldest examples on the plateau of the Apulian Murgia, while the most famous in the tourism sector are the Trulli of Alberobello, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
A tour in this magnificent Mediterranean land can enable you to discover the variegated forms of these unique ancient buildings. But there is something for all tastes: Puglia and Salento is a land rich in history and traditions, but also in attractions for tourists.
You can find a clear sea, white cliffs, a bluesky and a bright sun, natural forest reserves for some outings, and many bars and restaurants where you can taste the delicious dishes of the cuisine of Puglia.
